Constructing Bridges in Mapanda

In Mapanda, Geen Resources constructed bridges over two small rivers, Kimbwi and Nosa, close to Mapanda village at a direct cost of TSh 500,000 (S$400) each. This is not a major costs, but the benefits are significant and the bridges are frequently used by the local villagers. A third bridge has been constructed within TreeFarms own land in Mapanda, and is used for the workers, but is less frequently used in the day to day village life.

Road Construction and Maintenance

Green Resources has built and in maintaining more than 100 km of roads. One of the first things our employees spend money on is a bicycle. The road-network improves the mobility of the villagers, reduce the time it takes to go to school and help them sell their agricultural products.
